Hello,
when go in to Softcam setup->Default Softcam the drop down menu says none. by default i think CCam must be there. but for some reason i do not see that on the drop down menu.
I tried isntalling evocamd. installation was successful, but still the default softcam dropdown menu does not show the CCam and Evocamd.
can somebody please help me.

hi,
i got dm500c. I have fully re-imaged it (i am using the latest Jade image). still i have the same problem.
only modifcation i did was to copy a Cable.xml file.
and then i did transponder scan. everything was fine.
now the problem is selecting a softcam.

Can you do a test, and type in telnet:
plimgr
What happens? An error or do you get your softcam menu back?

MoviePlayer Not working
Software CAM installed cant be found in the softcam menu
Network Mount dont work smoothly
Maxvar image can work with the above 2plugins but when mounting a network drive, the recording quality is very bad
Tested on DM500C

Hi,
I have a standard DM500C. I think it may be a clone but i dont how to confirm this.
ANyway it seems latest Jade relase is may have issue on loading sofcam.
Can you explain what should I do after telnet into the box. just give the command you said or ?

yes i have seen another thread discusing the same issue. so it seems a small bug on Pli latest jade image.
I will install maxvar image tonight and see.

The main PLi final for the DM500 is being rebuilt as we speak. So expect an update shortly so all is OK ..
