I would like to buy a LCD or PLASMA 42inch ...
advised me that ? brand - model - you use what kind of cable for the best picture ?
I do not have especially small square in the picture!

Most brands name and also no-name brands works as well on LCD and Plasma, and i suspect you will see little difference between the two of them. I use LCD here and works perfectly.

Please remember that the picture quality of a 500 is not that good.
A 7020 or so will provide sharper images and yes, it wil be visible very clearly on such a screen.
All bad info will be enlarged too, so don't be dissappointed if it's not looking the way you hoped.

in order of quality highest to lowest
1. component ( YPrPb) on scart to RGB connectors
2. S-video (scart to svideo)
3. composite (yellow)
4. RF on UHF (normal coax used on tv aerial)

its only if you get dm800 that you can go to HD on hdmi or dvi

Very good plasma, and a lot cheaper then a Pioneer.

But don't be dissappointed about the picturequality.
It's virtually impossible to get a decent picture from a 500.
And no cable, how expensive it is, will solve that for you.

If you want a solid, clear picture, buy a 7020 or better.
A 500 is a poor receiver if it comes to RGB or any other videosignal.

...and dont rely on the yuv cable to work. The dreambox is tuned for rgb, not yuv.
Whether or not the result on yuv is acceptable depends on the combination with the tv.
On my tv (pioneer plasma) yuv from the dreambox scart doesn't work.
