Hi guys

I using Cccam in my device VU+Solo2

but i heard Oscam is better.

Can you guid me to convert Cccam to Oscam and send by "DCC" to my device?

Now in my Plugin /downloads/softcams  oscam-emu(git1825+c46c72d-0.0 & Oscam (git10492+9de7d61-r0.0) available for install

my open pli 7.2

Please explain completely  A to Z

if you already have installed OScam from 'Now in my Plugin /downloads/softcams' then you just need to add your c-line/mg line into your oscam directory 

 

this is how you do it 

 

1. Connect Dcc 

2. FTP > etc /  tuxbox / config / 

in config you will see many files but you only need 2 of them

oscam.server

oscam.conf

 

edit oscam.server and put these lines including your own cline.

 

[reader]

label                         = CCcam1

protocol                      = cccam

device                        = ABC123.COM,12345  (ADD YOUR SERVER LINK, & PORT

user                          = 123456      (USER NAME CLINE)

password                      = 123456   (PASSWORD FROM CLINE

inactivitytimeout             = 5

group                         = 2

disablecrccws                 = 1

cccversion                    = 2.2.1

cccwantemu                    = 1

The C-Line format is:

C: host port user pass

 

Example of C-Line:

C: server.myip.com 12000 foobar a1b2c3

 

C-Line translated into the oscam.server file:

[reader]

label              = remote_card_reader

protocol         = cccam

cccversion     = 2.1.3

device           = server.myip.com,12000

user              = foobar

password      = a1b2c3

 

Of course you may need more settings in Oscam - such as adding a CAID to "oscam.server" file (sometimes it helps - depending on the Oscam server setting).

Then it is good to also define the user's dvbapi to the "oscam.user" + "oscam.conf" file if you also use a internal satellite card ... and then you have to set other details.

Show what you have in your "oscam.conf" and "oscam.user" files.

Write whether you also use an internal reader or CI+ slot in the set-top-box (to properly match the Oscam settings).

Connect to OscamWebif -> LiveLog (http://set-top-box_IP_address:8888) and show us what errors your LOG shows.

Do not forget to erase (overwrite all with the "X" character) any IP addresses and passwords !

what can be the problem if everything just stops working with oscam? No problem with server. I have heard restart cam will make it work, sometimes you have to restart it several times. But its not working. From the beginning all works. But without making any changes in settings nothing works.

Maybe I have made some wrong settings in oscam.server file? or what could be wrong? Anyone else got the issue with oscam

What exactly is meant by this - "everything just stops working with oscam" ? Oscam stop working ? Why ? Under what circumstances ? What exactly stops (oscam service, decoding ECMs, freezes Oscam, do you see any "oscam stopped" message in LiveLog via OscamWebif) ? Or what exactly ?

 

You need to write more details about your problem.

 

You want to help with the setup, but did not write any details. Who is your provider, what encoding is used by your card, what CAID and possibly PROVID is used, etc. .

 

BTW, please set up a new and your own TOPIC for the future. Don't write your completely different problem in someone else's TOPIC. Uhm ... :-/

Hi dear i converted cccam cline to oscam. Then i paste it on oscam.server . I added a user in oscam.user . But i cannot open chanells with my reciver . Its cruiser

Go to streamboard this the best place to get support for OScam.

It's more complicated. You may also need a "dvbapi" user (file "oscam.conf" and "oscam.user") and/or an AU (AutoUpdate) feature.

 

It all depends on the oscam server and the whole network.

 

BTW, in my opinion, a softcam in the client position is a better CCam than an OSCam. As a softcam server it is better to use OSCam.

Which lines do you mean ? You're probably asking the wrong question.

 

The oscam.conf and oscam.user files are two different and separated files. Usually oscam.conf + oscam.user + oscam.server files are required. In the attachment you will find a clean oscam-configuration without the advanced settings.

 

You can add a remote reader to the oscam.server file. This remote reader will basicaly connect to your cccam server. Oscam himself selects the reader that contains the necessary CAIDs to decode the satellite stream.
