Screwed up here. I have an OSmio 4K plus and have used the multi boot feature. I had installed and tweaked the latest version of OpenPli and got it to where I liked it but apparently I failed to do a backup of all the settings. To make a long story short I installed a skin from the feed that this box doesn't like. I think it's the Magic Hd but not sure.
The problem is that when selecting the menu button on the remote and just about anything else it opens up to a default box but with no text or anything showing....just the blank grey template. With that being done I can't go back into the user options to select the default skin. I downloaded a new flash image to USB to reflash the receiver to a different slot intending to restore a backup but for some reason there wasn't a backup to restore to. Usually when flashing the image the restore wizard will ask you if you want to restore to an earlier setting but no joy.
I went into WebIf to see if it was possible to deselect or reselect a different skin but that doesn't appear to be possible. Can I delete the downloaded skins by FTP and reboot the box and have it load back up with the default skin? Or is there something I can do thru command line to undo the new skin that isn't working? The box itself and the firmware is working fine but without being able to see the menu options on either the main screen on the Tv or in WebIf I have no way I can see to get back to a good skin.
Ideas?
