Hello,
It seems that the Linux Kernel is not configured to support the memory swap on latest build.
Infact wen I try to activate the swap with swapon /media/usb/swapfile I got:
swapon: /media/usb/swapfile: Function not implemented
regards

If you need swap on an H9, you are doing something seriously wrong.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Unfortunately, I am told there is a so called „technical“ enigma web site that promotes the use of a swap or even flash expander for all issues, especially Kodi - so people just follow what they have been told
Gigablue Quad 4K & UE 4K, Vu+Uno4KSE, DM900
.........FBC Tuners:
------------------> GT-SAT unicable lnb to 1.5M dish(28.2E)
------------------> Gigablue unicable lnb to 80 cm dish(19.2E)
Octagon sf8008, AX HD61, Edision Osmio 4K+, Zgemma H9Combo using Legacy ports on multiswitches
Zgemma H9twin & Zgemma H9 C/S mode into Giga4K

Swap is about memory, the expander is about diskspace. Two different things.
They might be relevant for when you try so squeeze more modern features into an old box, but the H9 has plenty of both, so its rather pointless.
If you introduce swap, Linux will use it to create more buffer space, which will make the box slower, as Littlesat already mentioned.
I fear just one more example of the "fake news" you find on the internet...
