Zgemma h9s blindscan

I bought Zgemma h9s and blindscan plugin "C" band don't work. We don't have option to choose some informations. I'm testing a lot of images and same (dmm) blindscan plugin appear this same error.

Possible, blindscan is done by an external binary, supplied by the manufacturer, which is different for every box.


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

But I don't understand because this problem for all images and no solution...

 

The internal memory we fix using sdcard move, but no option too to restore the backup to sdcard again.

 

We have problem to for low and high symbol rate (according Octagon support, sf8008 support 100 ~ 80000 symbol rate and I think same demod)...

Check if the blindscan binary works on the commandline, with the correct parameters.

 

If it does, it is a plugin issue, if it doesn't, it is not supported by the binary and/or the drivers.

No, sorry, never done a blindscan. Maybe someone else can chip in?

 

In the plugin, the commandline is assembled here: https://github.com/O.../plugin.py#L913, perhaps that helps finding out which options there are, and what they do.

Maybe this will help, no guarantees, just googling.....

usage: blindscan-s2

-b : run blind scan

-T : Tune a specific transponder

-H : only scan horizontal polarity

-V : only scan vertical polarity

-N : no polarity

-i : interactive mode

-m : monitor signal mode

-M : monitor and re-tune each time

-a number : adapter number (default 0)

-f number : frontend number (default 0)

-F number : fec (default auto)

-s number : starting transponder frequency in MHz (default 950)

-e number : ending transponder frequency in MHz (default 1450)

-d number : delivery system 4=DSS 5=DVB-S 6=DVB-S2 (default 0)

-t number : step value for scan in MHz (default 20)

-R number : amount of times to try tuning each step (default 1)

-r number : symbol rate in MSym/s (default 16000)

-l number : local oscillator frequency of LNB (default 0)

-2 : enable 22KHz tone (default OFF)

-c number : use DiSEqC COMMITTED switch position N (1-4)

-u number : use DiSEqC uncommitted switch position N (1-4)

-U N.N : orbital position for USALS

-G N.N : site longtude

-A N.N : site latitude

-W number : seconds to wait after usals motor move (default 45)

-v : verbose



Example:

Default scans L-band range in steps of 20 on H and V polarity

blindscan-s2 -b

Scan 11700-11900 vertical in steps of 10, and calculate for lof

blindscan-s2 -b -s 11700 -e 11900 -V -t 10 -l 10750

I don't know how to run this command: Blindscan appear only python (system plugins)... no way to run and don't appear /usr/bin

simply typing `command --help` or `man command` will show you mostly the documentation/manual of the binary if devs were not lazy.

 

Not sure which images you use and if binary is called blindscan or octagon-blindscan, in case you are unsure, just run

find / | grep blindscan

it should list you the binary if it is anywhere, normally it is located in /usr/bin folder but depending of what folder structure dev chooses it could be also somewhere else.

 

Here is the help for octagon-blindscan and it clearly says how to use it, hope it helps you:

You have an uncommitted switch attached to your box, and no DiseqC switch?

The box is in standby (i.e. tuner 0 is available)?

I'm using EMP Centairi (16x1) and Circular Band: port 1 (10ºe C)
