Possible, blindscan is done by an external binary, supplied by the manufacturer, which is different for every box.

Today, after search some informations from github, I found this from february/2019:

Image or drivers problem?

We need to solve "C band" frequencies.

I don't have a H9S, only an H9T. And I've never used blindscan, so no idea what to look at.

So I have to pass this on.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Ok. Report please. If you want, I do more tests

We need to find a way to solve. Maybe I'll open new github issue (again).

I'll install OpenPli now to do tests (after backup my flash image).

Run the blindscan binary from the commandline, to rule out any issues caused by the plugin (that we need to fix, not Zgemma).

Ok. I'm testing a lot of commandline and I have dmesg log from OpenATV vuplus blindscan. Later, I'll test OpenPli plugin (after backup image)

Now, I see:

[vuplus_si2166_blindscan 950 1750 1 60 0 0 0 2] = vertical

and

[vuplus_si2166_blindscan 950 1750 1 60 1 0 0 2] = horizontal

but using

root@vuzero4k:~# blindscan-s2 -b -v 950 1750 1 60 1 0 0 2

For h9, I think the problem is binary, because we have for zero4k own vuplus binary working fine.

Same tuner name: zero4k and h9s, but different binary:

Si2166D

Zero 4k: vuplus_si2166_blindscan.bin (own) for all images.

h9s: blindscan-s2 (I think) - dmmblindscan

Zgemma need update this binary,

Using vuplus binary to test:

root@h9:/usr/bin# vuplus_si2166_blindscan 950 1750 1 60 0 0 0 2

Now... temporary solution (tests using OpenATV, OpenSPA and OpenPli 8)

https://www.satellit...indscan.178752/

Blindscan working using Unversal LNB... found same Vuzero4k transponders, but wrong frequency only,

If you do this:

* LOF: Universal Lnb for all C band satellites

* Tone Mode = OFF

* Change Stop Frequency = 12750 to 11300 (when start blindsc plugin)

14900 - (transponder Ku) =====> (transponder C band.)

Need fix drivers and dmm plugin

OpenSPA change some "extra" functions... I'm using on slot 4

Frank
