4:2:2 Feeds ok (Feedhunting) with OCTAGON SF8008 4K

Installation via Telnet:

opkg install kodi-addon-pvr-vuplus

install pvr client

 

Start Kodi and enter the SF8008's IP address in the E2 client.

 

Have fun!

It's Kodi so it works on all boxes which can run Kodi.

unfortunatelly not...

 

for a reason, sf8008 uses the kodi player. another receiver which i tried the same, uses the e2 player.  i didn't found an active 4:2:2 feed to check it, but in sf8008 the channel streams. in the other receiver not. so, maybe there is a point for approve in all receivers of that kind, but i think they need to fix (if it is possible) a few things.

Well, afaik you need to use Kodi player as it uses software decoding. E2 player only support hardware decoding... which don’t work as hardware don’t support 4:2:2 playback.

Both addons have an 'X' instead of a check mark.

Thus both addons aren't running.
