Hello. I have had the Dm800Hd for many years now, which works like a swiss watch, but it's not possible to support epg for Iptv.

I would like to buy a receiver that supports iptv with epg. Which one would you recommend. Price doesn't matter.

Thank you

IPTV and EPG are both software functions, so there should not be a difference for different hardware, as long as standards are used.

Note that the combination of IPTV and EPG usually means illegal TV. Discussing illegal activities is not allowed on this forum.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I don't think anyone has ever had the need for 4 CI's simultaneously. 2 cardreaders is very easily fixed with external USB cardreaders. Argolis Triple Reader, Stinger, Easymouse, Smargo, PCSC and the list goes on.......
Yes, I still own and use my DM8000....

No, I think that the original developers of the DM8000 were a bit overzeallous... I go a long way and have never seen one in operation with 4 CI's. IMHO I think the box would be fried. Using just 2 CI's sitting above the Xilinx chip created a lava-like temperature :)

On the old days this plugin https://forums.openp...-e2openplugins/

it allows to copy the EPG from one place and place it in another. I haven't tried it on IPTV, but it should work.

For example, if the EPG was missing somewhere and it was in a different place, it could be copied to the absence place.
