before we spend time on this, the topic starter might perhaps want to explain what epgidx is, what it is supposed to do, and why we need to have it in our image.

epgidx is convert epg source for MV.
The lack of it can not complete the conversion, EPG Information can not be displayed!
dm500 has this procedure, but

ok, found it. We'll put epgidx in the openembedded images as well.
Will be with the next (ipkg) update, which we want to do for the font issues on openembedded images anyway.
