Hi,

I need to copy a new softcam script to /etc/init.d/ but it looks like somehow I've lost permission to the folder.

I'm also not able to edit any of the existing softcam files present in /etc/init.d/ that I had created in the past.

Any ideas how I can solve this?

Many thanks

Everything on the box runs as root, there are no permissions in use. So you might have another issue.

What box? If an old one, UBIFS full?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

It's a DM800se. How do I check if UBIFS is full ?

Thanks

Any longer and you will need the services of an archeologist to maintain the box :) :)
No, just kidding. That's the reason why some boxes (including the old DM800's) are pronounced 'End Of Life' or better said 'End Of Service'. Their flash memory is simply too small and the SoC too slow to allow for the latest firmware...
Met één been in het graf..... Helaas
