Hi All

 

I need help on adjusting Infobar transparency - I mean the bar with info when you switch channels.

IMO the transparency is too high and very often I don't see the text on it - I wish it more dark.

 

I use OpenPli 6.2  (my DM8000 is quite old)  and regular skin PLi-full HD  (it's great and I used to it)

 

The only issue that the infobar is too transparent.

I know I need to adjust some value in Skin.xml  file but there is so many values for different transparencies  and I tried several of them with no luck.

 

Could you please advise which one needs changing?

 

I just mention that I tried changing in Setup-System-Audio / Video-A/V Settings:  there  is OSD Transparency there but it seems not working at all

I never hat problem with reading text on infobar or in 2nd infobar ...

 

There in PLi infobar is as background picture with transparency ...  .../infobar/hd.png ... you can try replace it with .../infobar/hd80.png (almost black) or use own (1920x330) png file.

I cannot believe it is only my issue, perhaps it is just how my dreambox shows it. In my case the infobar background is almost fully transparent so I see more tv show then anything in the bar.

so you're saying I need to work on the png file rather than adjust any setting in skin.xml file, correct.

Where to get more black file? I cannot find any hd80.png.

Somehow it does not work for me.

You're righ, there is something like  OSD transparency in Setup-System-Audio / Video-A/V Settings, but changing this does not affect info bar at all.

It is still like a glass...

/usr/share/enigma2/PLi-FullNightHD/infobar ... and my mistake, it is bl80.png

 

But it is weird ... i am using on all my boxes transparency in A/V setting to max.
