Corrupt EPG.

Does it immediately (and always) come with this error?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

It crashes in the DVBsectionreader, which imports OTA EPG.

If the box doesn't start at all anymore but crashes directly, there are only two options: flash the box again, or fix it using the commandline.

Can you login with telnet or ssh?

Issue the command

init 4

to properly close down everything, then delete the epg cache using

rm /media/hdd/epg.dat

(unless you moved it elsewhere, in which case you have to remove it from whereever you stored it)

and restart the box

reboot

find / -name "epg.dat"

to see where it is stored.

It might be in the root, or in /home/root.
