I have problems with freezing channels for ages. I'm not 100% sure when it started, as I have being using different receivers, lnb's and cables the last years. I bought a Gigablue UHD Quad 4K almost 3 years ago, but have never used it. So I'll like to try that one to see if the problem disapers. First of all, I don't know where powersupply is, but I have a lot of PS's I guess I can use. It's 12V 5A? + in center?

If you see my sig, I can use this receiver with my LNB's as I do with the VU+? I can see/record at least 4 channels from 1 west at the same time? Now I have 4.8, 13 and 19.2 E on input/tuner 1 and 1 west at input/tuner 2.

I have at least 50 PSU's like this spread over 50 different (big) boxes, so I'll have to have a deacent search... Found 1 now for testing, but it was only 1.5A.

I have an external HDD on VU+. Can I only move it to the GB without any problems? Recordings will not be deleted?

Yes, no problem. I only use external disks.

Searching channels now. 50% through input 1 with 19.2, 13 and 4.8 east. Always wondering if I get it right on 1 west with the set-up of the Unicable-lnb...

How can I copy my favourite channel list from VU+ to Gigablue? I have it in Dreambox Edit.

You have it saved on PC. Create new profile with IP of second receiver. You can then send to your channel list to the receiver you want.

How can I transfer the fav-list only and not all of the channels?

In DBE, copy the lists from both boxes to different directories on your PC. Then open the list from the new box, and import the bouquet from the old box.

OK, Unicable on input 2. Satellite 0.8 west. What do I need to change the settings so I can get at leat 4 channels at the same time?

Tuner A is for the other positiones, so it's Tuner B to H, or how many tuners I can use.

My menus is Norwegian, but the first and second line is no problem. 3. line, LNB. Should that be the same numer on all postiones? Priority? Type, SCR (Uni/jess) Type is no question/nothng to change?

Manufact and type is not anything to change. But position. What to do with that? Channel/User band? What to do there? Connected and connected to? As you see, I don't understand this.

Oh no, the same freezeproblems on this receiver. Mayby not that much, but it freezes.

Now I tried another receiver, I tried another cable and I tried another LNB. I must admit I want to die. What the h'll is this? It's on 5-6 channels. Has nothing to do with the signals/strength.

I'll list the channels I remember at this point. Can anybody see anything from the freq or something? (All on 1 west:

10.747 V, 25000 3/4

10.716 H, 24500 7/8

11.325 H, 25000 3/4

11.278 V, 25000 3/4

10.747 H, 25000 3/4

 

I see the first and the last are on the same transponder, that's all I see it has in common. I can't remember the other channels now.

To late to edit, but wanted to say all of these channels has more than 90% SNR and BER)

Noticing another thing now! TV2 Nyhetskanalen on 10.747 H, 25000 3/4 does NOT freeze as the 2 other mentioned on that freq!! The other 2 is TV 2 Sport 2 HD and TV 2 Livsstil. TV 2 HD (N) tekst the same transponder. Freezes...

Also other channels on that transponder, but I have no subscription for them, so don't know how they are.

It was the same on both receivers, so can't see if that would make a difference.
