Hello there,
I just installed openpli 7.2 on my vu+ duo2 and when I go to plugins and make a search, I get a message “no new plugins found”. What can I do about it ?
My internet is fine. I already checked that.
Thank you.

Are you sure that you are using 7.2 and not 7.2 rc (Release candidate)?
Can you login via Telnet and execute this:
opkg update
Please post the output.

Can you download the file via a normal Webbrowser on your PC?

If yes, internet connection on your box is not working properly. If not, maybe an issue with your provider or somewhere between you and the server. Maybe WanWizard has another idea.

wget: bad address 'downloads.openpli.org'

means the box has no working DNS.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

this is VERY weird!!

i have a VERY strong wifi signal at home and the router is very close to the box. on the same shelf!!

i switched from wifi to direct cable and it all worked!!!

i don't understand that. the box configurations and the network test showed the wifi is good but yet it did't work on plugins download.

now with a direct cable it's working!!

thank you all guys!
