I have a 8812au wireless network adapter and did not find the drivers from the image server openpli 7.2

The forums and blogs were searched and I did not find a definition that could accept the vu+ zero4k device

Is an ipk file available?

Never a good idea to just download something and install it.

 

On the VU+ Zero 4K, the package is called "kernel-module-8812au". You need to install it via the commandline or via software management / package management, as it is not a plugin.

The gigablue adapter works fine, so don't blame us for you not doing something right.

 

For starters, if you are running OpenPLi 7.2, your box isn't up to date, so chances are you have a kernel conflict as you are installing a 7.3 driver on a 7.2 image.

Problem with all these cheap junk is that they are produced using the chip of the week, so chances are it has a different chipset, or a not-supported USB ID (as the VU+ boxes run an old linux kernel).

No, it is kernel 4.1.0 actually. Just checked. I own 5 of these....

The Zero 4K has a 4.x kernel.
