Hi,

I got a recommendation from users here to buy Zgemma, so I bought H9.2S and installed the latest version of OpenPLi 7.3 (2020-07-26)

However, when I'm watching IPTV, the picture keeps freezing for seconds, while audio keeps working fine.

It's not from my IPTV provider, I tried the same IPTV subscription on my PC and it's working smoothly.

Video of my problem attached or here:

Please assist.

Hi mimisiku,

We're not talking here about legal or illegal, i'm trying to solve a technical issue.

Zgemma IPTV works just fine, but I only have experience with legal IPTV. I dont know what you have, I think something which is not legal. No support for this here, please discuss it with your provider.

What about other Enigma2 distributions besides OpenPLi (OpenATV, PurE2, OpenVision, OpenVIX, .......) ?  Just to try !

Use the OpenMultiboot plugin. But I don't know if Zgemma H9.2S device contains multiple partitions on internal flash memory for booting multiple firmware or if an external USB memory key is required to boot multiple firmware. Sorry.

The benefit of some of the other images is that they provide the QT Stalker plugin which (if supported by the IPTV provider) often provides a better experience. Its not as good as that on say the sf8008/AX HD61but OK.

Hi All,

After few months trying to troubleshoot this issue, I was finally able to fix it by installing "Autoresolution" plugin and set the resolution to 720p.

I wanted to share this as somebody else might have the same issue.

Thank you all for trying to help me.

Hi.

Probably the source of your IPTV stream will automatically switch according to the quality / speed of your internet connection, similar to YouTube when it automatically change the video resolution while watching a video. Maybe this was a problem. So when the IPTV server recognizes that your internet connection is too slow, it will change the video resolution due to lagging.

It is also possible that you simply have insufficient bandwidth and therefore by forcing a resolution of 720p, the video will also be streamed at and that is enough for the maximum speed of your internet, but 1080p or more was too much (causes LAGs).

I also don't know how you play IPTV channels (via some plugin ? or directly via userbouquets files ?). I also don't know exactly what IPTV server you use (which IPTV provider it is).
