Hello Pli-Team,

 

What about a reasonable full backup system in the image, as offered by ATV and HDF?
I also switch to one of the images here to create a worry-free backup under today's standards.
Shouldn't be that difficult, the system for flashing / importing the images has also worked well and works great.

I would be happy if the system image mastered this issue up to date and certainly others.

Was ist mit einem vernünftigen Fullbackupsystem im Image, so wie es Atv und HDF anbieten?
Ich wechsle auch hier auf eines der Images um ein sorgenfreies Backup unter heutigem Standard zu erstellen. Sollte doch nicht so schwer sein, das System zum flashen/einspielen der Images habt ihr doch auch gut hinbekommen und funzt super. Würde mich freuen wenn das Systemimage diese Sache auf neustem Stand beherrschen würde und andere sicher auch.

Installiere das Plugin "Backupsuite" und Du hast genau das, was Du haben möchtest

Habe das Plugin "Backupsuite" über Jahre genutzt, jetzt habe ich Boxen mit Multiboot in Betrieb, wie Zgemma H7 und H9 und habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass beim flashen des erstellten backups mit diesem Plugin die Box nicht mehr gestartet ist.

Somit habe ich das mit dem Flash/Backupsystem anderer Images gemacht und da gab es noch nie ein Problem.

all images I use have a flash / backup system integrated into their image, why shouldn't that be possible in the pli image?

 

 

Alle Images die ich im Multiboot benutze haben ein Flash/Backupsystem in ihrem Image integriert, warum sollte das im Pli-Image nicht möglich sein?

We don't put anything optional in the image. It keeps it small and fast.

 

99.9% of the users are not interested in a full backup system, I flash several boxes daily, and have never had a need for it.

 

If you want it, you can install it from the feed.

"Nice to see" that backupsuite z. Z. not running on the box, maybe you should think about your own backup system in the Pli image after all?

"Schön zu sehen", dass auch backupsuite z. Z. nicht auf der Box läuft, vielleicht sollte man ja doch über ein eigenes Backupsystem im Pli-Image nach denken?

Da auf der H9 auch das Plugin Backupsuite nicht funktioniert und auf meiner H7 nach Backup mit Backupsuite die Box nicht mehr hoch kommt, kann man nur auf ein internes Backupsystem wie es alle Imagebauer haben, verweisen.
