I never build like that, so no idea which Enigma branch it takes. I assume the default one, which is develop, given the errors. Appearently, you're the first release home builder... ;)

Try

ENIGMA2_BRANCH=release-7.3 MACHINE=dm8000 make image

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Aha! Yes that explains it.

Thank you for your assistance.

I will clean servicemp3 and serviceapp and build again.

BTW the hacked build finished and is fine!  :D

That fails again with the same compile error on servicemp3 plugin.

It is still building the develop branch, "enigma2-2.7+gitAUTOINC+8a30fdd5ca-r0"

Then passing it on the commandline doesn't work, and it needs to be in a conf file somewhere.

The recipe uses https://github.com/O...enigma2.bb#L112 so it should be overridable.

I added an enigma2.bbappend containing,

"

FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend := "${THISDIR}/${PN}:"

ENIGMA2_BRANCH = "release-7.3"
GITHUB_URI ?= "git://github.com"
SRC_URI = "${GITHUB_URI}/OpenPLi/${BPN}.git;branch=${ENIGMA2_BRANCH}"

"

That works!

Only setting ENIGMA2_BRANCH should be enough.

Incredible box.... For a 10-12 year old box and still going.... Replaced mine recently because of FBC and 4K.. DM8000 dusted and polished. Respectfully in it's original packaging... Was still 100% working!! Never crashed, but only 2 sat and 2 cable tuners....
The DM8000 deserves support (I don't think you will find another STB with this quality in the world....
Met één been in het graf..... Helaas
