allo,

I have installed openpli-7.3-release-osmio4kplus-20200824_multiboot.zip, and now the receiver's display doesn't show anything. At booting it displays the "boot" but then it does not show anything, neither channel number, nor clock. Even at operation mode it shows nothing. I have installed VFD Display Setup, but to no effect. I installed the older version openpli-7.3-release-osmio4kplus-20200817_multiboot.zip, and still no change. Can you assis me. Thank you.

Sounds like you installed the osmio4k image by mistake. The display will not work when you do that.

My receiver is Edision OS Mio 4K +

I understand your receiver is an Edision OS Mio 4K +.
What I am saying is simple: When you load a Mio 4K image into a Mio 4K +, the display does not work.

Then why say "Sounds like you installed the osmio4k image by mistake"?

There is no error in the image, the receiver and the image are the same. In addition, I use multiboot, ie. I don't download the image manually, and the receiver recognizes it.

Maybe it needs a display skin? It doesn't look like there is one: https://github.com/O...op/data/display

Since it has an OLED display, I'm not sure if it is possible to copy one of the others...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I have installed a Mio4k image into a Mio4k+ and the display quit. That is why it was mentioned that as a possibility.

Anyway, I installed  "openpli-7.3-release-osmio4kplus-20200824_multiboot.zip" into slot #2 of my MIo+ and cannot find any display problems with it. The display works.  I downloaded the image from here: https://openpli.org/...on/OS mio 4K +/

It looks like the word Edision is displayed at all times when the mio4k image is installed in the mio4k+.

There are some skins that may cause display issues. I do not find anything wrong with the mio4k+ display when using the default skin for the PLi images.
