Hello,

Does anybody know is there a possibility to add channel bandwidth speed (download/upload) in User Interface of OpenPli like in attached picture.

Attached picture is from BH, but I would like to see if there is possibility to have this option also in OpenPli.

Thanks,

Abi

Asking the same question twice if very frowned upon !

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

It seems I posted in the wrong place, then, after posting here and I tried to delete it in the other side, I was not able to delete it.

What would be your response to my question WanWizard?

Thanks

I don't know, I'm not a developer.

The answer would be "why would anyone need a reading like this while watching a TV channel?"

Obviously there's a converter somewhere that should constantly download something in the background. That means so many resources lost, increased CPU usage and for what? A meaningless indication using an E2 receiver with functions totally unrelated to such a task.

I use Iptv in my box, and when I change channels, this setup gives me information how much bandwith specific channel is using.

This is useful if I want to know how much bandwith is using for example one 4k channel

As mention, this option is available in BH images and just wanted to know if there is a possibility to have it also on OpenPli

What you showed us though was live tv! Which means this is not how the converter works. If it measured the used bandwidth, it wouldn't show anything on a live tv channel since no bandwidth is used.

Maybe he wants to see the bit rate which also shows how much data needs to be downloaded in case of iptv.

(But I still don’t understand why someone needs it.)

@betacentauri, exactly!

Why I like this option is because you know exactly how much bandwith use one iptv channel rather HD, 4K or VOD.

Same thing is on Netflix in some smart TV...

Apparently TS still doesn't understand the concept of bandwidth, satellite transponder and internet connection.

It seems better to change image and move to BH and have this option than to deal with OpenPli non sense answers!

How about the none sense question?

At least try to explain what you mean.
