About the sound level on DUO 4K.

With Downmix AC3 or AAC ON, the changing level sound is working (yellow key, +- channel key if you use the +- vol key for TV)

With Downmix AC3 or AAC OFF (Dolby ON),  the changing level sound doesn't work. Just ON and OFF: min and max value.

 

Is it normal ?

Yes, this is normal. In downmix mode the output is Stereo.. Other mode are digital and should be handled by AVR or similar device..
