I don‘t own a GB quad 4K so I can‘t check. Although I’m not a skinner I will play a bit with some values.

As far as I remember the display on the GB Quad 4K is a tiny bit larger.

One of the foto, the one with the small clock, is how the box normally show the display, the other foto is when the box blitzing (about 2 times a minute, for about 1/2 sec,,,,,glad I could take that picture,,,does not show up long).

 

No special plugins, the only one I have downloaded is a cam.

Using stock image (have tried to download different skins, same problem, did a new clean install, problems still there, but now I know that there is nothing else installed beside the image and a cam.

Did attach a video, guess that shows the problem. Can't seen the video self, no permission.

Can you zip the video and attach it again or share a video via wetransfer or an alternative website?

Apart from your 'blinking issue' can you add these lines in your skin_display_default.xml, save and restart your box and put the box in stand-by again? This file can be found in \\gbquad4k\root\usr\share\enigma2\display\skin_default I guess.

Take notice that I am not a skinner so I just tried something. Perhaps you'd better save the present file first.

As you can see, this is alsow an issue in "on" position, not just only in stand-by.

 

I do see that the tropic is changed to gb-ue-4k, but the box is as mention an HD-Ultra-UE

I guess and I definitely hope that we're talking about the same hardware as we only support these three models.

I am constantly referring to the GB UHD UE 4K which is this firmware.

I can remember there once was a kind of discussion regarding the right name.

To avoid that we're actually talking about different hardware, place a screenshot of your about-screen. Menu - information - Your receiver?

Apart from all previous info I assume you have downloaded your image via our website and not from any other OpenPLi like location?

I suspect you use LCD4linux on your GB quad 4K where initially this topic is about the GB UE 4K.

Abu Baniaz posted - the size of the clock did not affect it

 

I do not use Lcd4linux, I support openpli without unnecessary add-ons+default skin
