Is it possible to set a (sort of) timer to turn the receiver off at a given time and day?

I answered your question, even more, I also told you how.

I can't smell how smart of dumb you are, and what you do and don't know. This kind of responses doesn't trigger me to give more assistance. A simple "I don't know how to do that" would have been better...

What kind of 'power off' do you mean? A complete shutdown, so a 'deep standby' or a standby option in case you didn't turn off your TV?

We have a non activity timer and also a timer go to ‘deep standby’ when x time in standby.... so when you use the remote it does not go to standby right away... all configurable from the first option in the last option from the main menu. So we have it in an intelligent matter.
