Hi all,

I installed Jukebox 0.6.4 on my dreambox running Jade but for some weird reason it stops playing after 20-30 minutes.
I use CIFS to connect to a network drive that stores my MP3's, the network mount is working fine and I can browse all files.
When I start the jukebox and I select the file to play, it works perfect but after a while the music is interupted and sounds scrambled. I checked allready the network capacity and a ping to dreambox and network drive is still very good, no timeouts at all.
If I try to telnet into the DM7000 it's not possible anymore. The only sollution is to reboot the dreambox.
Does anybody else encounters similar problems ?

As a test I did the same on Iolite but with the same result. So I'm affraid there is something wrong.

Can anyone help me ?

Did you try to play the files from the "normal" file browser (so without the jukebox plugin)?

What exactly do you mean by "the normal file browser".
I you mean if i could play the files from a normal pc that connects to the network drive, i can tell you that that is working fine.
It must be something with the dreambox but I don't know where to start troubleshooting.

"the normal file browser" is 'filemode' or 'bestandsmodus' which can be selected in the mainmenu.
You can play your recordings from filemode, but you can also play mp3, flac, .. musicfiles and watch jpg, gif, .. images from filemode.

Playing the mp3's from the filemode works perfect. I didn't know this was possible.... Shame on me...
Any idea what could be wrong with the jukebox plugin ?

I don't know. We don't have the source code so cannot debug anything.
