Dear OpenPLI team,
1) My friend has VU+ Solo 4K and he has problem with front panel. Everything was OK until he tried flashing 7.3 RC and full 7.3 images. Panel is black in standby mode. When loading system he can see only splash screen picture but from time when boot logo is to be loaded and it is visible on TV screen the panel is black again and it stays black on. He tried several skins, some advices from topic about problems with Gigablue but nothing has helped. Returning back to 7.2 image panel runs well.
2) I used OpenPLI 7.3 on two VU+ Ultimo 4K devices satisfactorily for several months but sudenly today I have the same problem as my friend on one of them! Yesterday evening panel was ok till switching box off to standby, today panel is black. And again when starting system only splash screen is visible. I flashed 7.2 backup back and panel runs ok in it.
(I have updated both boxes during yesterday but they have been switched on and off to standby mode several times during day till night. Panels were still ok.)
There must be some mismatch in control of panel in the OpenPLI 7.3 for Solo 4K and maybe some kind of "time bomb" in OpenPLI 7.3 for Ultimo 4K in my case. I do not believe too much that it is caused by yesterday's update. Please try to solve it because I would not like to be frozen with 7.2 and waiting when problem appears in the second one. I would like to continue with progress of OpenPLI image further on.
