Hello!

I just found a crashlog from this afternoon. I also had the black screen again. Is this the solution? Can you help me?

You have an internet problem.

All these EPGimport log entries are due to a problem with downloading the file. And this is something we cannot due anything about it.

Try in a telnet window on your receiver (telnet, DCC or Putty) ths:

I do not have any ideas, except that in the connection of your receiver to the internet there is a disturbance.

Cables, settings. Modem config.

I agree difficult to find. One moment it works, another moment it does not work. Frustrating.

PS: some of mirrors do indeed block wget.

But http://www.xmltvepg.nl and http://epg.vuplus-community.net should be downloadable with wget for checking.

The error message is clear you have DNS resolution problem.

DNS lookup failed:

Try to use the google DNS instead of your ISP DNS: 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8

Changes made and Google DNS entered, restarted network - problem still there

Ping www.xmltvepg.nl via Putty in the Vu+ =

No blocking or no loss of connection. The ping goes through without any problems.

Same with Ping www.xmltvepg.nl via cmd in my laptop
