I've tried using the SQlite plugin epg on a 600 & 7020, on both boxes I get serious lag when going through channel lists & bouquets. Only happens once sqlite epg is enabled.
Any ideas?

Epg.db is 20 meg. Should it be this big with limit epg size box checked?

I just went back to Iolite, bouquet changes is a but quicker, but still some lag on some bouquets or different satellites. Using captains settings. SQLite plugin enabled.
SQLite is only mapped for uk radiotimes, but seems theres worse lag on hotbird 13deg bouquets.

The EPG limit in the setup is only used for the memory EPG. We're trying to debug what's going on, so we can fix this issue.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Thanks guys, I'll play around with the time thing tonight & re-flash Jade. Will post back results.
One thing though, this morning on Iolite I found the freezing / lag worse on Nova & that dont even use the SQLite epg, strange........

When you have SQLite enabled, everything uses it.
So every transponder that sends EPG data (which includes now/next info, and which doesn't have to be for the channel you are watching) will update the SQLite DB. Also, every zap and popup of the service selector will query de database for EPG data (even if it isn't present).

Re-flashed Jade as Iolite had same problems, but not as bad, set time to system time. Updated epg with sqlite, bad lag / freezing in bouquets. Dont think its the time thing.

Bw I used to have a dm600 on cable running on iolite, never once experianced this. Could it be something to do with the satellite side of things?
