I'm using Jade and I boot from USB stick.

I would now like to add a USB hub so that I can use other USB devices.

Does anybody know if this is possible and how to do it, please?

Thanks.

Well, I already tried it and it didn't work. But I see references to USB hubs on DM20720s, so I am wondering how to configure.

you cannot configure anything. A hub either works right away, or it doesn't.
Perhaps you should try some other brands, be aware the 7025 kernel is pretty old, it might not support all usb devices.

EDIT: 7020. Even older kernel...

Yes, you're absolutely correct. As soon as I re-soldered a dry joint in the hub power supply, it worked fine. The lesson to be learned is: don't buy the cheapest hub you can find on e-bay!

Thanks for all your help and encouragement.

A USB hub should work but not all will work out of the box. You may need some manual changes.
