I'm getting the message "error in creating entry list" when trying to search.
I have vu+ solo2 with openpli 7.3 and have loaded latest plugin from Taapat.
Is it working for you or is just me?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

First, check the search language and region in the plugin settings. Set there your.
If that doesn't help delete your keys and authenticate plugin keys and use them.

Delete file /etc/enigma2/YouTube.key
Restart enigma2.
In plugin settings disable 'Login on startup:'.
After that enable this setting and perform authentication.

I deleted the file and did restart and then the authentication.
enigma2 plugin now has access to youtube.
What should I do now?

I checked the region and language.
Language was set to English. (OK)
Region was set to EN which I assumed was England.
I live in England so I thought it was ok.
I decided to change the region to see if anything would be different.
I scrolled thru the list and found United Kingdom. I set it to that and guess what?
Now it works!!!
What does EN stand for ??

In the latest plugin versions region are taken from enigma2 CountryCodes.
I don't see the EN region here: https://github.com/O...CountryCodes.py
I assume it's left for you from the old settings before I change them.
I think if you check now, after the setting changes, there should no more be EN in the choices.

Thanks for the report.
Your problem indicates that I may need to rename the region and language settings.
The default values are taken from enigma2, so it shouldn't cause much trouble for users.
I'll think about it.

Normally EN stands for English (the language) and not England so EN is not a country code.

Exactly, therefore i don't know where he got this setting.
I see that the regions setting never had an EN choice.
The only option if the enigma2 settings come from a Black hole (not Open BH) image where CountryCodes do not exist and therefore i have created a workaround to use languages for regions.
I know this is not correct in all cases, but there are no source codes available and therefore I am not interested in 100% support for such closed images.

I have the same problem. I tried all the steps that you mentioned to the colleague, but unfortunately, I still could not access the YouTube.
The image that I worked on is openpli v8
The error message that appears: there was an error in extract video url
By the way, I tried to run YouTube on the image openvix 5.4 and it worked without any problems and without making any modifications.

The problem is that the on release images plugin version is fixed and a newer version is not available on the feed.
Therefore, first remove the plugin in the image.
After that download the latest plugin ipk version from here: https://github.com/T...outube/releases
and install it manually.
