I'm using Jade on a DM7020. I have managed to mount an external HDD (as well as a USB stick) via a USB hub.
I would like to try to record to the external HDD, but the "Recording and playing" menu drop down shows "USB stick" and network mounts only.
Is it possible to add the external HDD to the drop down, please?

The external harddisk could be the "USB stick" in the menus. There's only support for one USB device till now.
Can you type "mount" in telnet and show the output? It's not that difficult to change the recording location to the USB harddisk.

Thanks. I think I have just worked out a solution.
I have the stick mounted as:
/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc on /media/usb type ext3
and the external hdd mounted as:
/dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 on /media/usb1 type ext3
and in /media/usb I have a link:
movie -> /mnt/usb1/movie
But my next problem is how to mount the hdd automatically at startup. I have tried mounting in rcS.d but when I do that, the boot menu shows only the flash image, not usb stick images. Any soultion?
