Hello all
I have bought the Vu+ dual band Wireless USB 2.0 adapter but when use it in openpli image it isn't compatible. It's 8812au model. It works finely in OpenAtv image.
I have its driver but is it possible to install it in the openpli image?
I'm waiting for your help

It should be supported in 8.0-rc, which version are you using?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

I just installed the openpli 8.0 and not compatible also. Openpli must introduce this driver in images.

On what hardware are you trying to use the Vu+ WIFI USB stick?
I have ordered an original Vu+ WIFI stick many times to use with Vu+ Zero hardware in a professional environment. No complaints so far during more then one year and is recognized without any issues.

Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

I have the Vu+ Solo SE and I use the Vu+ Dual Band wifi stick 600 Mbps. The stick 300 Mbps you use works finely I know I tried it months ago. But this new Vu+ stick does'nt work in Openpli images. It works finely in OpenAtv and the last BlackHole 3.1 images.

I am not aware of a "new" stick, if it has an 8812au chipset, did you install the drivers? We don't install everything by default like some other images do.

On the commandline, or in software management, package management, look for kernel-module-.....

Please do
opkg update opkg list | grep mt76
If something like
enigma2-plugin-drivers-network-usb-mt7601u
is displayed, simply do
opkg install enigma2-plugin-drivers-network-usb-mt7601u
and reboot. After reboot, configure it via GUI.

We don't have meta packages yet, so you need to install the drivers and firmware manually:
opkg install kernel-module-mt7601usta opkg install firmware-mt7601u
or use Software Management, Package Management.
