Network Issue on solo 2

Hi

I found this issue recently. could you please help to solve it.

My network does not get any DNS and I can not even save any new settings. and there is no network to download anything

please see the attached pictures

You have a symlink loop, probably because /etc/resolv.conf is in the backup.

 

Login, of connect using ftp, delete the symlink /etc/resolv.conf, and restart the box.


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi, I have 7.3 running on multiboot, for some reason I can't delete /etc/resolv.conf.file... Also it is showing as a folder which is empty.. I normally have txt file . When I am running it without multiboot... Can anyone help? Thanks

No clue, we don't support and don't use this type of Multiboot solutions, always a source of misery...

Yea, not sure why I am messing with it. My vuo duo2 is getting old and I was just experimenting... Maybe upgrading to a new box as this is grief... Thanks Wanwizard

Somehow even though it did not show the file being deleted it vanished and I got to put my old resolv.conf file back in. Brill
