But after this I have the problem to reset the basic settings.
When I turn off OpenVPN to re-enter the DNS address in the main network settings and after I press OK then a green screen came up.
There is something about too many drawings in the resolv.conf file
Then I connected to box through FTP client and in \etc found this file but it was as resolv.config.LNK.
I deleted them, disabled Autostart OpenVPN in the VPNManager and restarted the box.
Only then could I enter DNS on 192.168.1.1 in the home network settings and internet came back.
The problem is probably in the DNS address, but what exactly?
Anyone help?
My network is:
Box (IP is static)——>Router (Gateway 192.168.1.1)———>Internet Provider

In the VPN manager I can already connect to the server, the earth seems green, but in the system network settings (main menu) you can see that no connection is set up and the DNS address (currently 192.168.1.1) has been deleted.

Hi,
VPNManager is better than VPN Config Changer because VPN Config Changer didn't regard a possible dns leak (VPNManager did this).
and VPNManager works with pli but it exists a problem with it with the /etc/resolv.conf
you can solve that (it's only a workarround) if you edit the /etc/resolv.conf so that they looks as following;
# Generated by resolvconf nameserver 103.86.96.100 nameserver 103.86.99.100and then you must forbid that this file is possible to overwrite with the following telnet command;
chattr +i /etc/resolv.confthen it works without problems in pli too (i use it on pli-7.2 and in pli-8.0-rc)
and it's best before install the VPNManager plugin first to install the other packages which the plugin needs especially the package openresolv.
for users who want to test it i attach the plugin here to download.

Pike
works thanks

The file that Pike_Bishop shared above is the correct one for OpenPli 8.2 (Octagon) ?
yes.
The DNS leak on VPN Config Changer was never solved?
no, vpnmanager is more or less the successor of vpn config changer.
