Hi,

When installing picon into the STB flash they are installed here:

/usr/share/enigma2/picon/

(Please take note that there is no s at picon)

If you plug and USB stick and that you create the picon folder on it (typically /media/usb/picon/ or /media/hdd/picon/) those folders will be used instead of the standard one, so if the USB picon folder exist you will only see the picon placed into it. So no picon file there -> no picon displayed.

So please check:

- that you have picons into:   /usr/share/enigma2/picon/

-if you have an empty /media/hdd/picon/ or /media/usb/picon/ folder if so delete it and reboot the box then the picon installed into /usr/share/enigma2/picon/ will be used.

To developer: I think that it would be convenient if in the About OpenPli screen we can see which path is detected as source for the picons so we can refer to it for the end-user that have problems with picon.

The right map is automatically created when you download picons from the feed. If you don’t have the knowledge users should leave it alone and let the image fix this. I don’t rule out that you played to much and ruined the right setup. Stop messing around with your box setup and start with a fresh flash. My knowledgelevel is not that good but I hardly ever experience these kind of wierd issues.

The / is not a valid location for picon.
Do you have a usb stick or HDD connected to the box then check what I mention.
You can place the picon into only one location and if you create a picon folder on a valid location but leave it empty you won't have picon displayed.
