is weird.

It is obvious no transponder is tuned, the box is already in standby. But it should already have the correct time at this point, you only get this is no time is set?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Today I tried to do one / two tests

Today I tried to do one / two tests.  I turned everything off in the sllep timer menu. I just left this setting on "Shundown when in Standby...... after 5minutes"

I switched it to standby manually. I got this debuglog :

[Screen] Showing screen 'StandbySummary'.
[Screen] Showing screen 'Standby'.
[eDVBFrontend1] startTuneTimeout 5000
[eDVBFrontend1] setFrontend 1
[eDVBFrontend1] setting frontend
[eDVBFrontend1] fe event: status 0, inversion off, m_tuning 1
[eDVBFrontend1] fe event: status 20, inversion off, m_tuning 2
[eDVBFrontend1] FE_TIMEDOUT! ..abort
[eDVBChannel] OURSTATE: failed, fatal

I installed plugin autoshutdawn

I set it to go to standby after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Turn off 5 minutes after standby.

He did it. Turned off 5 minutes later.

Zgemma debuglog

I think it's faulty the built-in sleep timer.

How to fix it or restore the previous version sleep timer?

It can be reported somewhere?

Hello! Installed from the feed the plugin flashexpander_pli on USB. Flash memory copied to USB. But if you still open this plug-in, then again, as during the first installation, it writes: "Flashexpander is not used. Create? Click OK" And then everything is the same as in the first installation, you ask where to create, then again copies the flash memory and reboots. What could be the problem? On 7.3 this was not!

At 7.3 everything was fine. At 8.0, I did everything the same way: I installed the device manager from the feed, unmounted the USB, formatted it into EXT 4, then fixed the mount. The plug-in copied the flash memory to USB, but if you open it again, it says that it is not installed.

I am the owner of a Vu+ Solo4K, currently running the latest version of OpenPLi 7.3. I tried a couple of releases of the new 8.0 but I keep running into a bug that prevents me from turning on my receiver.

In my current setup the receiver wakes up from standby when I turn on my TV, and goes back to standby when I turn the TV off. Moreover I also use the 'switch' on the right-top of the OpenWebif-interface to turn the receiver on and off (and my TV wakes up and goes to standby).
However with 8.0 when the receiver goes in standby, it won't be possible to turn on the receiver anymore. The switch on the OpenWebif-interface doesn't move, the receiver doesn't turn on when I turn on the television. This only happens when I try to to turn off the receiver about 90 seconds. If I only leave the receiver on standby for only 60 seconds or less, it will turn on.

The only ways that will always turn on the receiver are 1. by using the power button on its own dedicated remote control, 2. the switch on the front of the receiver, or 3. using this URL in my webbrowser:

http://root:password@localhost/web/remotecontrol?command=116

Instead of upgrading from 7.3 I also tried to flash my Vu+ with an USB stick. I configured it manually with leaving the settings for HDMI-CEC as default. It had the same problem I also checked /var/log/messages and the HDMI-CEC log for both 7.3 and 8.0, and nothing looks out of the ordinary.

What could possibly be wrong? I am quite tech-savvy so I am quite happy to provide the developers with more information.

I tried to install 8.0 (20210118) again and I see that there are no changes, ServiceApp is still not installed correctly on Solo2, and I think this applies to all mips32el. During installation, it pulls in the wrong/incorrect libraries libavcodec58 and libavformat58. I found a solution on a third-party forum, only after manually installing these libraries the exteplayer3 start working.

Thanks for TuneIn Radio 3.9 . I download it. http://tunisia-dream...dio_3.9_all.ipk

On Openpli feeds, it is TuneInRadio 1.2.

We wait for a WebBrowser in OpenPLI 8.

Plugins and skins should be completely checked and sorted. Some are just too outdated or not working (especially skins).

Maybe better to add a special thread with a kind of overview so we know what (3rd party) plugins need an upgrade....

After a new reinstall, without backup, i can see SSID name in network parameters. A litle bug stay if you change SSID by selecting another one in WIFI network and saving it in  network parameters :the SSID isn't saved. To save it you need to enter in SSID name, modify it and resave.

Also 5 GHz WIFI isn't stable, there are some disconnections. It works fine at 2.4 GHz

It isn't the internet box because on my WIFI TV, at 5 GHz no problems.

Sometines the AVB mode settings is lost (2160p auto) : and it necessary to select it again.
