Hello, I have the Gigablue UHD Quad 4K, with the openpli 8.0 image, but when I put it on standby the Display keeps the hours in a reduced format.
With an old image the display skin had several solutions. It is possible to have these solutions in the openpli 8.0 image. I appreciate your help. Happy New Year to everyone.

skin xml links are resolved at build time, you can't implement this commit on your box.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Gbquad4k and UHD Quad has not the same display size as the vusolo4k.
So one will see size problem.
Nice to see the "picon display switch" is back again in the interface.
Though the picons are not displayed on the GigaBlue display.
Here is the second difference with Vu.
The used renderer doesn't seem to handle the Gigablue display.
Need to use a modified picon.py renderer.
Btw. the display xml is yet empty!

"Show picons in display" enabled?

https://github.com/O...a/setup.xml#L87

Gbquad4k 3'' TFT Color Display (400 x 240 px) / vusolo4k 3.5" TFT LCD   --> display size="400,240" or not?

Yes enabled.
Gb UHD 4k = 2.2" and gbquad4k= 3" and vusolo4k = 3.5"

Clock is there and in right measurements.

No need to call picon in .xml with: "PiconLcd"

Because this renderer is default not present in OPenPli.

Place the unpacked + xml in this directory: usr\share\enigma2\display\
Then you can choose via menu-gui-display this additional displayskin.
If the size differs then edit the xml to suit your display resolution.
If you want picons on your display then copy the picon.py mentioned above in this directory: usr\lib\enigma2\python\Components\renderer\
Restart enigma.

Though "picons on display" worked as before for Vu. The modified picon.py is a fix for missing picons on Gigablue UHD, Quad4k display.
