Only the top of the iceberg.
Businesses have only been told yesterday that on all products and packaging destined for the EU they can't use the "CE" mark anymore, but have to use the UK mark, which doesn't exist yet.
Big financial problem for many small businesses, one reported that the entire stock had to be destroyed since it wasn't possible to remove the mark from the product.
As they say overhere: Brexit, the gift that keeps on giving...

It is the other way around. Products from non-EU producers are not allowed to say their products are CE certified, only EU companies can get a CE certification for products.

Well, the issue here is what UK manufacturers have received the instruction to remove it from their products and packages.
Which is an unneeded cost, and also not true, as long as the products are manufacturered according to EEA standards, they are allowed to use the mark.
It indicates the far-reaching chaos that is Brexit.
I think more correct is that products and packaging needs to include the new UKCA mark (if for the UK internal market), UKNI mark (if for Northern Island) and CE (if for the EEA). Obviously only if the product is produced according to those standards. Which also needs a reprint of both, so the problem remains the same.

From the other side all the manufactures need also to add the uk logo....
Seems the ul wants to be free to make their own rules.... but they forget for export tbey still need ce and for import their market should be big enough that other manufactures need extra certification.... most likely making import extra expensive....
While ce is kind of world standard also excepted in a lot of countries outside Europe...
Endless this it is a pitty for the people in the uk that ‘sky-go’ only works in the uk and that they will miss sky when they go to Europe!!! While paying a lot of pounds for this service. But this is nice for the illegal iptv streaming services....

Moet netflix daar nu ook minimaal 30% Britse content blijven beiden? Succes!
