hello,unfortunately with the new 8.0 image the internal dvd player on dm8000 does not work.

Why? What do you mean with it does not work? Did you install the driver? Do you see an error with dmesg?

when introducing a cd/dvd the player starts normally(you can hear it) but nothing appears on the screen,or in mediaplayer. i installed nothing, just libdvdscc because i remembered from the past that this sometimes was the reason for not working.with 7.3 it worked normally.

Install DVDPlayer plugin and check if /dev/sr0 exists....

Hmmmm. My DM8000 went into retirement last summer (still working 100%)... Replaced by a VU+Ultimo 4K BTE running on VTi 15.0....
I have to flash a friend's receiver today.... Will check then....

When run '/usr/bin/bdpoll sr0 -c' create empty folder /media/'dvd video name'

We're looking at it. At the moment it looks the issue is in an area where Wanwizard has more expertise.
Beware that it's very difficult for us to test, because none of us have a DVD player connected (or available).
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands
I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.

Can you handle a commandline, or edit files via ftp?
If so, add this line to /etc/udev/rules.d/automount.rules:
SUBSYSTEM=="block", KERNEL=="sr?*", ACTION=="add", RUN+="/usr/bin/bdpoll %k -c"
restart the box, and check if DVD's now work?

did the latest update,but only after inserting your file, dvd and cd are working now,it just doesen´t show any information about the cd:title,songname etc...but thanks anyway,for your help

if yes maybe a program is missing like cdda2wav or i found also a plugin with name enigma2-plugin-extensions-cdinfo
