Recently I have upgraded my Pli Images to the new Jade 2008-10-19 and I have downloaded the new Xline skin.
At a friend of mine I have noticed that on that skin he can see at the lower right corner the DNS from where he can clear the channel, the hop and the ecm dellay. In my case I cannot see anything even though I have enabled in OSD options the required options in order for that thing to work. My friend wrote this image on the flash and in my case the image is on a USB stick.

Any thoughts???

Find a FTA channel that needs no card or CS and it should say FTA or fta in the bottom right hand corner of the Skin, correct?

1. If so, it means if you have a subscription card in the box, it is no being read by CCcam, so no message displayed
2. If so, it means if you are using some form of card sharing, you are NOT connected to the server so no message displayed

Both the above can be sorted out by setting up /etc/CCcam.cfg correctly - but this is not the web site to tell you how to do this as it is against the forum rules.

It does not say anything not even to FTA channels.

1. My card is being read succesfully without any problems.
2. I am all connected to all sevrers without problem and the channels are cleared.

can you do a screen dump of your X-line OSD and post it here please so we can see please.
Also please confirm you are running Jade Final on direct boot (not multiboot)

An example is attached

Attached Files

What do you mean direct boot and not multiboot.
Jade final is being ran from a USB stick.

Jade final is being ran from a USB stick.

And that could well be the issue. Did you try installing Jade to box direct rather than to a usb stick?

I am pretty sure if I do that the problem will be solved. But I do not want to do that because every time a new image is out I will loose all my settings and my configuration if I install it on the flash.

I am trying to install it on tne USB and solve the problem.

The problem was solved by installing the image to Flash. I have not found a way to make it work on the USB.
