Please tell me, do you need to rebuild everything with this error or is there a simpler solution?

Odd, haven't seen that error before, and I don't have that file in my install. Do you have some customisation in your build?

I'm sorry, the file softcams-enigma2-meta contained a record from the previous mgcamd recipe. And she was giving this error.

Rebuilt with the latest changes for libcrypto-compat.Installed the plugin mgcamd,it does not start. Removed from the name of the binary MGCAMVER = "135a" and the plugin started, but did not work. After restarting the receiver it did not start.Replaced with my file softcam.mgcamd the plugin is up and running.

The binary checks its own name? WOT?

And do you know why we need to keep reanimating this 8 year old binary? What can it do that oscam can't?

Ok, thanks.

What does ncam do that oscam don't (as I understand ncam is a fork of oscam)?

Yes .. you are right ncam was used in early stages for russian viasat entertainment .But personally I have found wicard 1.19 is far better for it in Openpli .

This one still remains.....

And what makes wicard different from Oscam?

OScam  can handle multiple servers better It mostly selects the fastest server but for biss encryption it doesnt perform well .

But wicard can  always follows the order or sequence of proxies & always try to sent ecm requests to the first line available in the reader file, If any channel opens up using second reader in sequence wicardd always try to resend the ecm requests to the first reader no matter the channels opens or not. wicard always follows the reader sequence. its better for using biss encyrption. mostly russian viewers use it

In OScam you can play with the weight of the different reader to change the way it is working, you have different possible strategies for round robin. But I don't know about BISS problem because I am not using it.

This is probably because it was already installed before I made the last changes.

If now installs /usr/bin/mgcamd instead of /usr/bin/mgcamd135a, as per your test results earlier...
