Hi Guys,

does anyone know which application is serving the MPEG-TS streams on the box. I have some problems with the stream processing since updating to version 8.

I have really strange situation when I'm trying to reshare with different protocols in network I’m getting following results.

http to....

RTMP = smooth, but no Sound

RTSP= with sound, but video is stuttering
SRT = smooth with sound
MPEG-TS smooth with sound

what I need is RTSP. Same process with streams form Encoder are working without any problems. I really don’t know where to begin with troubleshooting. It would be great if anyone could help me.

Ok one reason why rtmp doesn’t have sound is it doesn’t support ac-3. Is there a way for changing the sound?

How do you create the RTMP, RTSP, SRT streams? The box only delivers MPEG-TS streams.

With a streaming software which is installed on raspberry pi. It pulls with mpegts and is able to reshare with different protocols.

Then this streaming software needs to select a proper audio channel. The e2 stream includes all audio channels so that you can choose which one you like to use.

If your box supports transcoding, you can try to use that as it only contains one audio channel afaik (but has other disadvantages like slow stream start).
