Hello!!

I am running Vu + Ultimo4K PLi-OE

Firmware version: OpenPLi 8.0-release (2021-01-29-release-8.0)

Kernel / Drivers Version: 3.14.28 / 20190424 and gets no picture or info in LCD Display.

Current Skin is METRIXHD MOD has tried different but same error.

In settings display skin no Preview Basic Available, Clone TV to LCD is active.

What have I missed?

The required colorlcd is probably simply missing here.

Maybe one of the bosses will have a look.

mmmm I have VU+Ultimo4K with our develop image... and the display is working as expected... Last time I tried release I also had display...

I think parts of the display still work of course. However, as with 7segmet or Textlcd, it must be optimized accordingly.

You can test it separately.
VU + requests colorlcd as a machine feature and this feature is not activated or used here.

I don't have the box so I wouldn't do it as a pull request, but maybe someone would test the box beforehand.
