Hi Everyone, I had done a flash to the latest v7.3 to my Duo2 yesterday and everything work fine. But this morning it could not start-up at all, the white Led light keep flickering even after I switch off and on the electric supply. Could someone tell me what is wrong with it please? Thank you

I opened up the cover and found some stains on the capacitors as per attached photos, does this means these capacitors need to be change? Could someone advise which are the ones that need to replace? Thank you

If you have repairing tool kit and have proper knowledge of repairing  then try  But in my opinion its better to send your box to technician and let him measure through volt meter find which one is not working .

I´d bet, that not only the capacitors are dead...what happened there, lightning struck in?

Pictures can always be a little deceiving.
Remove the power supply unit and clean it with a brush.
The large capacitor in front of the silver heat sink seems intact. The yellow one below is just glue.
The two electrolytic capacitors in front of the black heat sink are possibly defective (I would replace them).
Just like the small black electrolytic capacitor sitting in front of it.
Only costs a few € and is worth a try.
I wouldn't invest 56 € for a new power supply.

@Alraaza63- locally no one sell enigma2 box here, so there is no repairer

 

@Dorfkind- No lightning or thunder storm at all, it just happens overnight after the box goes to deep sleep and in the morning, the LED white light flicker continuously. Thank for the recommendation, sadly the seller wouldn’t ship to my place

 

@Rantanplan- Thank you very much for the advices and instructions. Fully agrees. Any idea what is the rating for capacitors 1 & 3 as per attached photo?

If I am buying the parts myself, please tell me what are the things I must look out for,

1.       Any particular better brand or quality to request?

2.       Etc?

1 and 2 are eqal caps: 1500 uF, 25V, 105 degrees

3 is not really readable, even here: http://linux-tv.com/...insidepower.jpg

But it should be written on the side.

 

When I would begin to solder, I´d

 

- short AC first to discharge rest capacity from the caps

- pull out power supply

- desolder all caps and renew them with same capacity and at least same voltage and temperature

3 is an inductor not a capacitor. But it could be the issue in also somewhere on the motherboard and not limited to supply.
