Hi I installed openpli 8 on zgemma h9.2s but openpli is not on the info page (it says not requested) and if I do opkg-list installed is not there. Does it need to be installed separately? all other images I had it was built in

Zgemma h9 uses different solution based on ffmpeg to playback media files. As long as you have no problems, you don’t need to do anything.

Do you watch cable/satellite channel or streams? In normal case transponder broadcasts the time.

both, was just setting it up.  I did the scan of the channels and allowed brahe.apptimize.com as it was being blocked by nextdns.  All good now thanks

No!
It has nothing to do with the info.

You could build this info display into the image.
It would be intercepted like the version of the gst.
Just have to want pli ;-)

Isn't it more logical to display the version of hiplayer (the gstreamer equivalent on HiSil boxes)?

The version of the installed gst is displayed, so the version of the installed ffmpeg is more logical from my point of view.
The use of the player engine would be another possible info.
