No, it isn't. ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I would also like to add that this resetting happens when recording to a usb flash drive.

EPG cache errors are well known, and only recently fixed.

How to deal with it?

Update your OpenPLi (Enigma2).

Then, delete the current EPG cache file - via the GUI MENU with the helping of RCU or via the Shell (terminal connection) when Enigma2 is stopped:

init 4 # stop the Enigma2
rm -fr /media/epg.dat /hdd/epg.dat /epg.dat /etc/enigma2/epg.dat # I don't know exactly where the epg.dat file in OpenPLi is placed
init 3 # start the Enigma2

rm -fr /media/epg.dat /hdd/epg.dat /epg.dat /etc/enigma2/epg.dat # I don't know exactly where the epg.dat file in OpenPLi is placed

That depends on what location is available, or what you have configured in the EPG settings. It will however never be /media/epg.dat or /hdd/epg.dat. It could be /media/hdd/epg.dat though.
