Make sure the USB stick is removed, switch the power off, and on again. I've noticed the bootloader sometimes gets stuck on a USB stick with a damaged filesystem.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Often it is helpful to format the USB stick before using it for another image.
I always do it this way. Format the USB stick (quick format), copy the image, install the box.

1.st Octagon SF 8008 4K (openPLi 8.0) // 2.nd vu+ zero (openPLi 8.0)

It is the bootloader of the Zero itself that damages the FAT filesystem on the stick. It is why on Windows you need to explicitly close a USB device before you can remove it.

I tested a VU Zero a few days ago, because someone had the same issue. It started fine if I powered it on without the USB stick connected.
