Morning,

General short question

My setup:
Receiver connected via HDMI to the TV.
Soundbar connected via HDMI to the TV.
Receiver controls TV and soundbar volume via HDMI CEC.

If now the sound does not run synchronously with the picture, does that mean that the sound comes too fast or too slow?
Do I have to move the slider to the negative (minus) area or to the positive (plus)?

I have already tried both, but somehow I do not recognize the influence.

In general, it's not clear to me whether in such a setup the sound follows the image or runs ahead of it.

enigma2-plugin-extensions-audiosync ;)

This is exactly what it is intended for and is already installed.
Settings can be made separately for each channel and are retained.
Adjust via audio and then adjust the offset via + -.
Save and it fits.
greetings

I tried it already with this extension.  :thumbs-up:

But in general, if the sound is not coming directly from the TV but from a soundbar behind it, does it have to be adjusted against minus or plus?
Which is faster in such a case? The sound or the picture?
