I have the above image with dm7020. I have a diseqc(4x1) with three satellites 1. Nilesat 2. Astra 3 Hotbird
I have a problem while I am zapping the channels on the nilesat; the image hangs up. I cannot use the remote control even though I can watch the channel.
I have to restart the dreambox after the hang up. The diseqc is version 2.0. Does the dreambox work with 2.0 or not? How about the PLi Jade?
Is there a compatibility problem with the switch or is there another problem...

your question doesn't make a lot of sense.
If it crashes when zapping on nilesat, it cannot be diseqc related, because the switch doesn't do anything while you zap on the same sat.

The image does not crach is just nor responding....
So if it not the switch what might the problem be?
How can I gather information about this problem??

if the problem occurs while zapping on a single sat, it's not diseqc or switch related.
You should have the same problem when you connect a single lnb. haven't you tried that yet, to rule out the switch?

Ok the problem mostly occurs when I switch to a certain package and especially to a certain channel from the showtime package.
This does not always happen. How can I debug the logging from the enigma???

connect a null modem (serial cross over cable) to the serial port on 7020 and your PC
run hyperterminal or whatever serial comms package your PC has
check that it works normally something like 115200-8-n-1

Start logging the 7020

I think have found what was causing the problem.
I have disabled in the EPG menu the Enable MHW EPG and Enable DISH/BEV EEPG and since then no more hang ups.
This has solved whatever was causing the hang ups. Most probably the certain channel was causing too much EPG traffic.
Any ideas?
