Hello,

I use now OpenPLI 6.1 in my receiver. Is it please some way to control front panel LEDs? I need to turn off ACT LED (red) when receiver is in standby mode. In deep standby is off. I read that in OpenPLI 7.2 is added LED control for some receivers but when I tested it with my receiver I didn't find it.

Some receivers don't have soft-control on their LED. They are simply hardwired in the electronics.

Oh so, but I believe that this function is somewhere in software (image), but I don't know where. When I tested OpenATV, there had ACT LED violet (red+blue) color in deep standby.

If the option exists, it is in menu - setup - system - expert settings - display setup.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

As far as I know, this is impossible.

I think it's actually possible.
It's in a lot of devices so that there's a red LED in the standby mode. (like TVs, CD players, etc). Some of them are burning blue when they're turned on (my blue-ray player Oppo for example).

I think it can be changed by development, but is it worth changes, I don't know. (because the behavior generally is as expected).

How to do this in general, it's known. How to do this, exactly, with this model, should be tested.

I tried a plugin called LED manager, but it was in OpenATV, because in OpenPLI it won't be installed and during installation in OpenPLI it said: 0 plugins were installed or removed. When I tried to run the LED  manager firstly, the receiver get frozen so I restarted him and when I tried it second time it said that no LEDs are in front panel. Okay, thank you all for the answers :)

I checked the display setup, but there are options only for display eg. brightness etc. nothing for front LEDs

What is the output of

grep -r "" /proc/stb/fp

If they can be controlled, they must have a proc node.

so, no proc nodes to control a LED.

I simply opened the box, cut one of the LED's leg. Soldered a twin-wire to it going to a small push microswitch on the rear... Works fine

Take a piece of black tape and stick it in front of it  ;)

If it don’t have proc nodes, then it cannot be programmed at the Enigma2 level.

MACHINE_FEATURES += " textlcd 7segment blindscan dvb-c hisil mali transcoding emmc"

is certainly not correct and should be adjusted.

Is the Lunix 4K a HiSil box? I thought it had a BCM SoC?

You're right, of course, sorry ...
But the 'textlcd' has no place there either, the box has no display

MACHINE_FEATURES += "blindscan-dvbs proxy v3d swap dvb-c textlcd"

possible that this also leads to an error in possible LED control

Possible. I assume the result of some poor cut-and-paste from the BSP maintainer of Dags.
